first off is the biggest skateboard comp to ever be hosted at the palm springs skatepark. the comp will consist of different age groups. you will skate in a 5-7 minute heat with a few other people from your group in the street section of the park. there will be prizes awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers of each heat.
at the end of the night everyone that participated in the contest will have an opportunity to win $250 from altamont apparel and emerica shoes in the 9 stair best trick.
registration for the event starts at 10am at the palm springs skatepark or you can stop by epidemic anytime this week. its 5$ to skate in the comp and free to come watch.
almost all the companies we sell at the shop will be out there passing out free stickers and product throughout the day. dj alfalpha and sarah from the coachella valley art scene will be helping out with sound as well as setting up a DIY arts and crafts section where you can make your own stickers.
